sod delivery
We have a fleet of delivery trucks with truck mounted forklifts to deliver our premium sod products to your home or your jobsite. We deliver all over New England, parts of New Hampshire, and eastern New York. Large projects requiring multiple trucks is never a problem!
If there’s room on a truck, we will fill it with an order! If we can’t get sod to you first thing, we can do a late morning or early afternoon run to fit you in the schedule.

sod pick-up
*Pick up any amount of our fresh cut sod here at our farm.
We have three varieties to suit your needs.
1. Kentucky Bluegrass : Our Kentucky Bluegrass is your best choice for full sun and high traffic lawns.
2. Turf Type Tall Fescue : If your lawn is partially shaded, if you live near the ocean (salt water), and/or don’t have the availability to water a lot, no problem, our Our turf type tall fescue will be the best choice.
3. LTP: If you want to save some money and are willing to sacrifice a little on quality, we have our LTP “Less Than Perfect” sod. LTP is fully mature sod that just not quite clean enough and may have some small thin spots making it unable to be sold as our #1 quality product.

We have other specialty varieties available as well: Blue/Rye/Fescue* and Blue Fescue* (*please check availability).
Loading
We can safely load your vehicle with our forklifts or hand load your sod order into a trunk space if needed. (See vehicle carrying capacities and sod weights)
Approximate vehicle maximums:
½ ton 1500 series will hold approximately 400-500 sq.ft. max
¾ ton 2500 series will hold approximately 500-900 sq.ft. max.
1 ton 3500 series will hold approximately 900-1400 sq.ft max.
4500-5500 series trucks can hold approximately 1400-1800 sq.ft. max., if the body allows.
Approximate sod weights are below.
1 piece(10 sq.ft.) = 30-50lbs.
250 sq.ft. = 800-1000lbs.
500 sq.ft.= 1800-2000lbs.
600 sq.ft.= 2300-2500lbs.
We have plastic to cover your floors and string to tie down any tarps.

Can’t make it before we close? We can take payment over the phone and put your order and receipt in our pickup area for you to get when you’re able to.

free consultation service
Our free consultation service is as quick and easy as going to our online scheduling page and choosing a day and time for us to come out to your property. When our estimator arrives, he would gather some information about the yard and develop a plan for removing and replacing any parts of your lawn. The next step is accurately measuring the areas you would like to have re-sodded, evaluating the access points, the terrain, and any obstacles we need to work around. We will follow up quickly with an emailed quote for your review. Upon acceptance of the estimate, we can get you in the schedule on the next available date to get your lawn repaired or replaced.
grass removal and soil preparation
We have the proper equipment to remove an old lawn and machine/hand prep the surface for sodding. Whether it’s a small lawn or a big lawn, we can remove it and haul the scrap material offsite for composting. We have small powered equipment to quickly remove the old grass and root layer and either walk behind or driven machines to efficiently prepare the surface with minimal disturbance to your soil and maximum benefit to your wallet!

residential and commercial sod installation options
Our sod installation crew can take any yard from bare dirt to a lush green carpet of our premium sod! If you are a homeowner and don’t want to take this on yourselves, we can supply the manpower and the products to make the lawn new again. If you are a landscaper and are too busy to fit a lawn installation into your busy schedule, give us a call and our crew will get it done for you! We employ our own experienced installation crew for installing our sod on your site. They will take every step to ensure you get the beautiful lawn you have hoped for. Our attention to detail is second to none. From small residential lawns to complex large projects, every job gets the same high level of care!
to work within everyone’s budgets, We have created different levels of sod installation:
1. DIY*
THE BIGGEST MONEY SAVER! You prep the surface to your liking and we come out and do all of the heavy lifting. This will save your back from handling the sod multiple times, and getting up and down to get the next pieces. You would be left with the edging, cutting in, and clean-up up of scrap after you edge everything in. We will take away the empty pallets and/or sod tubes.
Customers will be responsible for the watering of the new lawn.
For an additional charge, we can supply and deliver the proper fertilizer for the current conditions, any fungicide products you may need, sod cutting knives, or an additional rain gauge to keep track of your watering.
2. INSTALL ONLY*
You have your site completely prepped for sod and we come out and do the sod installation, cutting in of edges and beds, and the clean-up of all the scrap material. We blow off the rocks and debris from the lawn.
Customers will be responsible for the watering of the new lawn.
For an additional charge, we can deliver the proper fertilizer for the current conditions, any fungicide products you may need, or an additional rain gauge to keep track of your watering.
3. Complete Installation*
You remove the old grass and roughly prepare the surface, we arrive and hand/machine rake the bare surface to perfect it for sodding, we install the sod and cut in all of the beds, walks, driveways, and blend into your existing lawn as needed. We blow and rocks and debris off the grass and turn on the water to hydrate the sod before we leave.
Any watering after we leave will be the responsibility of the customer. For an additional charge, we can deliver the proper fertilizer for the current conditions, any fungicide products you may need, or an additional rain gauge to keep track of your watering.
4. Complete Removal and installation*
We remove the lawn and dispose of the scrap material off-site, machine prepare the surface for sodding, and final hand rake to perfect the surface for sodding. We install the sod and cut in all of the beds, walks, driveways, etc. We finish with blowing off the rocks and debris from the lawn, clean off the walkways and driveway, and turn on the water to hydrate the sod before we leave. When we leave, it will be like we were never there!
Any watering after we leave will be the responsibility of the customer.

*All of the above options will include a Kingston Turf Farms rain gauge, our customer packet including new sod maintenance instructions, a watering guide, and recommendations for mowing and fertilizing.
*Sod is perishable and must be watered during or immediately after installation. It cannot remain on the shipping pallet for extended periods of time.

driver roll-out service big roll sod*
To save time and labor costs, we can deliver and roll out our 48” big roll sod on your site where applicable. We supply the sod, the forklift with a laying device, the sod pulling rakes, and you supply the labor force (at least 4 people). Big rolls are best used in open areas with little to no obstructions and not a lot of complicated curves. We can install our big roll sod on a residential or commercial/municipal site where access allows (at least 10’ wide and 10’ high).
*Customers are allowed up to 3 hours per trailer load, anything beyond will be charged per hour.
Multiple trailer loads can be rolled out in a day.
